Hollywood Regency Glass Table by Banci Firenze

Italy 1970s.

Extraordinary dining or center table with a stunning brass and chrome base in the style of Hollywood Regency produced by the Italian manufacturer Banci Firenze. The table top is made of an impressive solid glass top. The table base consists of a wide upward curved frame. The frame is made of brass and chrome parts, which further emphasizes the beautiful curved shape. The frame is held at the bottom as well as at the top by two round parts in chrome.

Hollywood Regency came out of Hollywood’s Golden Age in the 1930’s and has a lot of in common with mid-century modern in the silhouttes and clean lines. But the details, such as pattern and color,  are inspired by art deco.
